I'm sure the conference meant different things to every but to me, it was about being united. It was about energy - to inspire, to strengthen, to share knowledge. Two weeks in and I've been at 5 births and countless clinic visits (prenatal and postpartum). Having so much fun catching babies, taking blood, talking to clients, loving my clinic and all the midwives there, and in general really happy I picked midwifery and midwifery picked me!
The results of the US election have left me with little faith. So take care of your hands midwives, we need them now more than ever.
